One of the anchor events of the SSYSF is the Science Fair. This year marks the 33rd Anniversary of the SSYSF and coincides with the biennial Secondary & Pre-University Science Fair. The Official Opening of the Festival and the Fair (together with the Presentation of Prizes) was held on Tuesday, 25 May 2010.

The theme for the Science Fair is: Biodiversity: Nature's Design and Technology.

After getting through the selection process and oral presentation, 2 of our students, Elsie Cheruba and Loh Wei Li did well.

Elsie Cheruba won 1 Bronze Award and 1 Special Award for Best Written Report while Loh Wei Li won 1 Special Award for Best Displays and Exhibits.

Congratulations to both Elsie and Weili and also well done to all participants who have tried their best in this competition!!
